This piece is from my Aladdin series, Three Wishes Bromfield show/2016, many of which have sold already to collectors. The piece is attractively framed, floating in a modern white shadow box.
My medium is relief printmaking, experimental mono-printing techniques and collage.
I am fascinated by patterns. I like to observe them, pull them apart, and then re-form them as printed pieces. Carving them into linoleum and wood I produce a vocabulary of images that can be printed and reprinted in different colors and combinations. My goal is to weave together images that express the vitality of growth and decay in a physical and spiritual world.
