I paint images that uplift and celebrate the people and happenings within the community that surrounds and supports me. Through portrait, scene, and still life, I capture and paint the ethos of queer community.

From domestic bliss to sweaty leather bars, my narrative boasts an unabashed and authentic brand of queerness. Taking an unapologetic and saturated approach to subject matter, I allow the viewer to reevaluate preconceived notions of queerness, while embracing a perspective that is rooted in our local community.

The themes prevalent to my practice recently have been cooking, dining, and domesticity.

My art practice is rooted in capturing everyday life, bringing attention to the subtle details of mundane life by portraying ordinary objects and spaces.

In my work, I embed hidden clues to encourage viewers to engage deeply with the painted world, sparking reflection on the realities it represents. Through this blend of realism and artistic distortion, I invite exploration of a subjective reality, where the familiar is transformed and new meanings emerge.
